Description
”You are walking up to a wall. The wall has what looks like a blue monochromatic painting. You stand in front of the painting. It is not a painting. It is a hole. There is no thickness to the opening. Beyond the opening there is a space which is bathed in natural light. The space is smooth, coved, there are no edges. The natural light is diffused. The light seems palatable and there is another hole beyond. Someone walks up to the hole and approaches it like a mirror. You both look two-dimensional. The knife-aperture hole simply flattens space. “
